I thought the write up was excellent Lumpy mentioned Parks and Sarge, Scott Calderwood and Brooks
as players who gave their all and didnt give however there are one or two out there who dont deserve their
spots. Congrats to Sello well done on his first game.
As for elbows there was one guy who tried that all day but was that far behind the play he missed
Five kicks in total three in the last quarter , two of which were to Tasman guernseys one wide to an open space
But always great to go out to the Gary and catch up with the locals.

How come Souths closed for business at 8.30 Saturday night after a great win??

Snapper & Snake had to come to Bostons to have a drink and enjoy themselves. I know Snapper was very dissapointed that no one came back to the club. He couldn't believe after a ten goal last quarter and rolling Mallee's no one gave a stuff. Couple of targets for the Tigers next year....best part about footy is the night after a great win.

What a round of football coming up

Bostons v South - The Battle for the spoon at the home of football. Be early to avoid dissapointment ;) or maybe be late to avoid dissapointment ;)

Kings of Ravendale - Co-tennats playing for second spot. It doesnt get any bigger than this folks. Make no mistake This is a final. Waybacks must win this game as a loss means they will fall behind Tasmans and Tasmans have the 2 spoooon contenders in the last 2 games. Tasmans must win otherwise they will fall 2 games behind waybacks and have to rely on the demons losing to MRFC and MPFC in the final 2 rounds (possible) but you would give the demons 1 of those games surely. The demons will need all hands on deck to win this one.

Mallee Park v Marble Range at Pecker Park - Big game for the peckers, they need to consolidate. If South ran over them then you would give the Rangers a huge chance. Too much is getting left to to few at the peckers at present. Mallee Park have Bostons and Demons in the run home. After last week a loss here would be disasterous and time to hit the panic button

What makes all this interesting is Tasmans percentage. They only have to draw level with W or MP and will be in front of them.

The Mallee Park v Demons last minor round game could also be of big interest.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

I think your selling Lincoln South a bit short. They are only 2 games out of the 4 with three games to play. They have played WFC & MPFC so they would be confident of winning at least 2 games. I'm not sure they are simply playing for 5th spot!

Tasmans a definate for a top 2 finish. They are the class side of the comp.

After getting done by Bostons two starts back? We had several out before you start to. Class sides don't drop games to cellar dwellers if they are serious.

What is in their favour is the Peckers recent poor form and I didn't see much to get excited about by Waybacks on Saturday. Bit of a lottery and could come down to the weather or simply the form of one side on the day.

Mmmm interesting comment seeing as the same club is trying VERY hard to get him to sign a contract. Good lad with a hunger to learn and 19 yo ruckmen won't be the greatest thinkers in the game just yet. Port might be a bit miffed as he told them what to do with the contract.
As for yesterday u might find he was a bit sore from SA Country last week and didn't have the usual leap. Take nothing away from young tiller who was very good.

If you are suggesting Port Adelaide have offered him a contract for next season, you would want to check your source... Not true.
