Also as mentioned with players finals qualification, does anyone 100% know if the player has to "play" (physically set foot on the ground) for it to be counted, or as long as you are present and in uniform you can just sit on the bench or in the grandstand for that matter, as long as you are on the team sheet???

Being at the ground or sitting on the bench definately does not count.... BUT
It is up to the opposition club's staff to ensure that anyone who is on the team sheet but does not physically take part in the game, is crossed off at the conclusion of the match. This ensures the SFL do not count them as having played, and therefore won't count toward a qualification game.
