Sturt have no money, late paying players, banks and other suppliers of goods and services.

If you are a real passionate member id be drumming up as many new sponsors as you could

From a person involved with the running of the club. Interesting that the finance officer has recently left her position at the club too.

And all this coming from a Port supporter whose clubs' financials are AAA. Whose supporters leave them in droves. What a f~%<^£# liberty! ;)

you don't believe mickey?

Being a member, it would be a simple case of checking that all is OK with the club, wouldn't it?

We need 9 strong clubs in the competition, Sturt included. I hope that they can work through the issues as have other clubs, including Glenelg, Norwood and North have had to in the past. Port aren't out of the woods yet either, but at least they are working hard to get there.

They're a Duncanson red biro stroke from extinction, they've never been in more danger.

Can we please talk about the game? Thanks

Was an entertaining day at the footy, Sturt arent too bad and I would say Norman is getting the most out of what he has got.

Great to see Sammy Miles becoming a league regular after a number of years at the club.

Saw some small signs of what the Bays can do and could worry some teams if we can do it for longer periods when back at full strength.

Had a look at the replay tonight and when the incident came into view Kirk was a good 15m from Wundke and the Sturt player standing him and others nearby wernt remonstrating, so not sure where all the anger came from a bit later.

I had a look at the replay of this (to qualify, very early AM), from the time of the incident onwards and missed Soders saying this.

Can you (or anyone) recall or directly point out which stage of the broadcast this was? (Not disputing it, just need some help finding it before I get a chance to have another look.)

Cheers people.

Ah, righto, fair enough.

Thanks HP.

Sure ,I'll ring and say "hey just checking I heard a Glenelg supporter say we are in finnancial trouble ,is it true "? No doubt they will give me all the details as a member.

4000 crowd ,not bad but not as strong as I thought as both teams had less support there IMO.

Sturt's been in the same financial situation for 10-15 years now... I go to every AGM and look at every financial report and while the club is always close to going down the toilet, it seems the board always manages to keep them just above water.

I can't be certain that's a good performance, but it doesn't appear our club is able to easily make decent profits year on year.
