the other has some new talent but is coached by a man who thinks looking like a pirate is still looked on as cool.

I would hardly suggest a squad containing the likes of Chambers, Coad, Sheedy, Nelson, Whiteman, Feast, Weatherald, McLeay and O'Keefe, not to mention some blue ribbon youngsters such as Button, Wark and McDonald would be described (as you so eloquently put it) as 'Crap'

I would . Sturt has the worst squad in the league ATM.

MST. For once tinpot has it right. The blokes you have mentioned have been running around for years and every team has an exciting crop of youngsters at this time of year. You guys are rank and I reckon you'll win the spoon as well.

I guess we'll just wait and see.

Norwood have a few blokes who have been running around for years too. The difference is none of them have played in a flag winning team or won Magarey medals.

Alas, the 'Legs may well find the going pretty tough in 2007 too.

I still think we are a fair chance to finish higher than your mob.

I do respect your opinion though mate

Just a minor point but a few of those players are premiership players and a couple have won magarey medals.
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

when analysing a squad you boys might want to refer to an old saying. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link.

last year for Sturt to much work was left for too few.

And it will be same this year.

Crap squad Heading towards a spoon.

Quite a good point struttie. There's no denying what they have done, but I am talking about what they will do.

The only thing tougher than the job facing our respective football clubs is trying to get a bite out of you MST. Well done LOL. The only reason I think you guys would struggle to beat Wingfield Royals is that we beat you three times last season and we didn't get within a bulls roar of the five last season. Both clubs have a way to go at the mo.

Interesting from a CD supporter

Slattery was no superstar at westies but falls straight into your seniors and gets second best, from a team that has griffen & giles and if they go to their respective AFL clubs which is a possibily is left with Buckets Mckenzie as the rucks. dont get ahead of yourself sir and the trial in two weeks will be interesting at richmond

Sturt are going to have be pretty bad to knock off the reigning champs after what west showed yesterday.

Personally I expect an improvement from Westies and think it may be out of Sturt or Norwood.

Can we please revisit this?

I've only included teams witrh a chance :)

Interesting as I briefly considered adding Port to this poll.
Start a poll mate, probably worth adding North and South to it too as there might be some who think one of them having a chance.
Some poor misguided fools even think the Bays might have a chance!

I think it was the right move not to put in this poll
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

After two rounds, West.
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

Would the 47 that voted for Sturt like to check in and let us all know if they are still standing by their original vote? - Looks like Sturt are going to be the thorn in the side this year! :D
