You have more in common with Central supporters then you would like to admit topsy.

Norths sMALlish defence doesn't match up well on Norwoods forward line
Im praying for no rain, and the Legs in an expected win, going on thier recent form of 1 loss in the last 12 games

You obviously haven't seen North play for the last month Mal. With the introduction of Haniford, Keller and Kangur in addition to Alleway playing in defence North now have a sizeable defence. Kangur is one of the strongest 18 year olds that I have ever seen. Not as strong as Tapscott was, but still a powerful young man.

I sense a bit of reverse psychology here from supporters.
North are far better than their ladder position and I expect a tough game seeing as this is a vertual final for the Rooters.
Just the type of game the Redlegs need to find a bit of form with top spot still achievable.
Baring a some shocks results Norwood and Centrals can finish no lower than 2nd but both can finish first as well.

A better side than Port would have beaten North yesterday - it took 3/4 for North to get it's act together and when it did we won the game. We have played much better football in long periods many games this year and lost so I will take yesterday's 2 points.

I am sure the coach and the players know that a much better 4 quarter effort will be required to go close to Norwood this week.

The one factor that has been overlooked in all this discussion is that North do not play well on Sunday's.

That makes the win more memorable. :)

Motlop is a definite out for North, he is named in Port's starting 18, Stewart is part of a 7 man bench, but given that he kicked 8 goals last week, he would have to be a strong chance to play for Port as well.

Same .. Can't see the Power dropping Schultz or Butcher so would expect Stewart to remain with the Roosters.

North not nearly as strong as the last few weeks :

Round 20 v Norwood
FF Allan Gill Thiele
HFThompson Mason Mayes
C Ryswyk Bennett Gallman
HB Keller Alleway G Thring
FBk Kangur Miles Ivens

Ruck
Ackland Delvins Brett Backwell

Interchange
Haniford, Clisby, D Armstrong, Pfeiffer

In
Pfeiffer, D Armstrong, Clisby, Mason

Out
5 Michael Handby (broken wrist)
9 Daniel Stewart (Power)
23 Daniel Motlop (Power)

Norwood by plenty. North's biggest losing margin for the year is 33 points, could be bigger this week.

I never expected Motlop to be recalled by the Power. Big plus for Norwood.

Stewart listed at No. 6 on the 7 man bench. I guess that means 2nd emergency so I hope he will play for North. Though he deserves to be in Power.

I think your thinking to much into how the teams have been named. It doesnt matter where anyone is named there is nothing official about the teams you read in the paper.

Norwood has dropped Josh Allan in favour of Alex Forster.

Just as well for the commentators - there are already two Pfeiffers and that would have meant two Allans as well ;)
