The biggest disappointment for PA this season was not being able to beat NW or ST at Alberton

Was a mini sa footy get together with maybe a dozen members in attendance in close proximity tonight...

Yep T Mac has really stood up without Duldig there and again well done to him, good to see. Don't reckon the delivery into our fwd lines was great but he again made the most of it. Ports kicking to a leading target was very good, made us look inept in that dept. Umpiring wasn't too bad but WTF! is with the holding the ball interpretation this year. Totally disgraceful. SANFL umpiring still at an all time low. Well done to Port Magpies, some good skills being taught out there.

14 goals in 2 weeks is a pretty good effort by the lad, just needs to do it regularly now.

Saw this game

Thought cubillo was Bog for a mile for sturt. Brodie was ok but didn't use it all that well and our defense was behind all night letting ports fwds get easy leads and marks

Tim mc was good but he is not and should not be the focal point. Too small a fwd line and the delivery was too high, port had the hieght and muscle to win the footy too much in our fwd line. they were just that little more cleaner going fwd which resulted in goals where we had our chances to convert but just weren't clean.

We won the early stoppages and kurtze did well against their rucks. better players for sturt; cubillo, kurtze, Thomson, McIntyre. A few others did some good things too.

Liked the young guys games and the fact we didn't give up. Great end to the 1st half but dropped our bundle at the start of the last.

Was a good game overall but gotta win these types of games next year.

Recruiting needs ff, fb, chb and probably 3 strong midfield types. Going to be a crazy off season.

Where was that? I was standing under the scoreboard close to the pathway. Had some good banter with some port fans which was fun, gotta say they went toothless or smelly...first for everything ;). Was there with the miss us, port mate and mum and dad, then my bro and his missus and two kids showed up. Saw weslo move the cheer squads a part scepter they didn't do anything. Let weslo know they are nothing but a bunch of rent a cops lol, they laughed too!

Loved how the scoreboard attendant couldn't add up 17:14 as they had it as 126 instead of 116.

Despite the result, good night at the footy.

Enjoyed the game last night. Port controlled the game for most of the night, but were challenged by sturt late in the 2nd qtr (i think they kicked about 5 in 8 minutes to finish the half).

Mercer was on song last night and took everything within reach. Mcintyre also looked the goods for sturts future.

Good to meet mickey and JK last night also at the unofficial SAFooty convention

Attendance just over 3200 ,not a good attendance IMO.

Well done to McIntyre and he now needs to continue with that form . Sturt forward entries were woeful and with no direction at all. Skill errors continue to haunt us and why is Luke Crane on a wing is crazy.Port were OK , Sturt were worse to be honest. Cubillo looked like he was carrying an injury and not as effective as he has been. A few toomany not up to it but they never give in and keep at it.

Can we get rid of this stupid holding the ball rule.

The umps were fine last night except the one where plant hit the behind post and then got tackled. Ump was looking for his moment to **** everything up and did so splendidly. Little prick

I thought cubillo was very effective, got shit loads of clearances and kept the ball in the area and was just ferocious at it. Glad he is at sturt.
