Great win Norwood, great team effort and the game plan worked well!! North are a good opposition though and played some impressive football.

Good time for a rest and then we can get stuck into the ferrals.
One week at time though but we have our eyes set on the prize this year!!!
Centurion, cant wait for the battle mate. You can't can't crap on now and suggest that there is any better team then Norwood to play at this time of the year. I'm sure you will as usual say Norwood are useless Norwood can't play Norwood can't beat you etc etc bout time you had a look over shoulder and take note Norwood are not that far off the mark, yes you and your cocky ferrals are the team to beat but its not all won and done just yet and a lot of football is yet to be played.
Top spot is not sealed just yet!!

We were poor for long periods today but brilliant in patches aswell.
We still have a fair bit of improvement, but happy to keep winning

Norwood continue to impress me as the best team in the comp as Ive said after every loss to them this year. If you make a mistake and turn over the ball against Norwood they score goals, easily the best drilled and coached side in the comp IMHO.
Too good Norwood, gratz on the win. Enjoy the flag, it will be well deserved.

Brave effort from the Roosters, but not quite good enough.

From the radio:
Thought North relied too heavily on too few. Norwood put in a much better overall team effort. Just as a point, 20 out of the 21 legs players had 10 or more disposals against only 13 Roosters achieving the same and, 65 more disposals.

Alleway was quiet and Gill needs to get some velcro on his hands as he missed too many gettable marks. Allan racked up 42 disposals today but you can't win a game single handedly.

Some undisciplined play from North in the 1st qtr gifted the Legs 2 goals at a time when they were already well on top.

Thought Thring and Theile were very good, as was Thompson and Gallamn did a good job on Langford who, despite his 3 goals, had his hands on the footy only 9 times.

The loss of Stewart and to some extent Motlop was just too much as we seemed to lack any fire power up forward.

Norwood won the stoppages, won the clearances and was more efficient inside 50 and that's what you have to do to win a game.

First 1/4 killed the Roosters with some poor skills and undisciplined acts. Norwood showed their class in the 1st 1/4 when those acts occurred and hurt the Roosters on the scoreboard and basically won the game then. Good fight back by the Roosters to get within 13 points but zapped all their energy climbing back into the game. Norwood quick off the mark in every term getting a quick 1 or 2 goals . Best side on the day won in a pretty good game of footy. North continue to impress against all and dont give up, they have had a good year and if they keep most of their list will be a huge threat next year.

No doubting the premiership battle will come down to Norwood and da dogs. North teased their supporters today, getting within 2 goals a few times. Hate losing games like that.

Another fine win for Norwood in what was a real danger game given Norths resurgence.

Round 22 against the Dogs should be a beauty!

Well done to Norwood on the win. Looks like a great finals series is set, particularly between the Eagles, Norwood and Central. For North supporters, take solace from the fact the race for fifth spot is still well and truly open. Wins over Sturt and South (and possibly Central), coupled with South losses to Norwood and the Eagles would give North fifth spot. If that happens, with Stewart and Motlop back, North are definitely not out of the premiership race.
Cheers
