The character that Pia shows is something we will miss on field and his leadership around the club too. Very hard individual to replace.

Always respected the way he went about his footy. Not the most skillfull player in the side but you know he will always put his head over the footy, is hard at it and he will always give a contest 110% for the team. He has been a great servant of the SANFL and the Bloods. Well done Pia, good luck in retirement mate.

He was recommended to Westies by Anthony Banik, I think.

Pia came from Sale and has been a tough player who gave his all for the jumper all the time.

Idiot. Dont bother posting Bu!!shit like that. People like you reall pi$$ me off.

Absolute champion bloke and a great clubman. Former captain who got alot out of his limited football ability. Hope the club does the right thing by him the rest of the year and in the future.

Just a tad disrespectful FRED, even if you didn't legitimately know who David is, you could have been a little more tactful.

Pia found himself in the umpires book today, reported for striking Nick Liddle. Just a tad undiscipline today was the former skipper.

more than ''just a tad disrespectful'' BP

always knew you were in for a contest when he was charging at the ball or the player with the ball
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Does a West game go by without this occurring?

And most of the time we've been found not guilty. Might tell you something about the umpiring. Pia will get off. Soft report. Warranted a free kick but that was all.
