we were a bit ken, but still was looking for a better effort then that. we did have another one go down too so wasn't the best day. we will however get b green, hazelgrove back and a few others back which will help. possibly also paech for next week and gregory later on. cougars are sportsmeds best client at the moment!

Question for Tangles or CU. Did the Wakelins' have to be transferred in to play on Saturday? Looks like no record on Sporting Pulse and they were not listed on the Team Sheet in SP. Neither Wakelin goals were recored for that matter.
As both played a few years ago for Kimba, I would have thought they would have needed a clearance or at least be registered??

I noticed it was not listed on Sportingpulse also and that Doug Mc said they both kicked a goal in the story and that was not listed in the results (thought it could have been another PLFL/Times stuff up....mmmmm....maybe not!!!). Can we read more into it? Is there some sort of cover-up going on here btb?

Not on sporting pulse, so they couldn't be listed on there as goal kickers.

i assume the PL Times just takes results off sportingpulse

The question is why weren't the 2 players listed on Sportingpulse? PLFL Cover-up?

As was the case with Roo when he played for Tasman, you can get what's called a promotional permit. different to a normal one.

So they cant be listed on SportingPulse because they are on a promotional permit (seceret)???
We need to look into this more.... they were both permitted to play so should be listed.... I dont care what permit they are under..... I will follow up with Sportingpulse as to what happened

Unfortunately, I can confirm a meeting took place last night at Ravendale at 7.30
unfortunately it occurs every fortnight it s called a committee meeting.
LDS. I am the first one to stand up and say the alleged behaviour is not acceptable
as indeed the whole of our club including the accused player.
I have not spoken to the two individuals who "elected to take it outside"
I am sure they are both very embarrassed about the whole incident.
You talk about our culture as a club with drugs and alchohol of course we are working
to curb these, whilst you and I and every poster here has done stupid things under the influence
of some substance.Only last week I tended to a player from another club who punched a give way sign
and was bleeding like a stuck pig his age-17.
A few months ago another lad who had been hit by acar whilst trying to get out whilst it was going.
Dont throw to many stones and look around When I still followed Rangers I saw the tragic effect drugs had on an
absolutely teriffic bloke and a great footballer. this is not a club culture but societies.

And if it was found that the correct paperwork had not been lodged (unlikely), what do you think would be the outcome?
You can't "unplay" them, it's already happened.
You can't take away the points from Boston, as they got flogged.

bluestheboy, Shane and Darryl were not listed on sportingpulse for the weekend becuase they dont need to be, the Promotion of Football Rule requires approval by the SANFL Community Football Directors.

16.5 Promotion of Football
The Regional Football Council may with the approval of the Board grant a permit to a
player of an Affiliated League Club to play football for a team of another Affiliated
League Club if in its absolute discretion it determines that it is in the best interests of
an Affiliated League and/or football generally.

Recently it has been Tasman players that we hear about.

Before that, and still quite recently Bostons were the main offender- we still cop the generic slurs from people about our club, too.

The wheel will turn...
