No chance of that down Brighton but the reasoning will be left alone!

Hoping for a fine day tomorrow, looking forward to the lastest Spring Down the hill fashions -

Hoping to cop an eyefull of the tight "above knee" denim shorts that are now a "Bomber" trademark and the equivalent to Early's "black slack - Game Day" uniform, are these still "in" or are these now "so last season?"
Eyewear - is always good to see what is the latest to be seen in, are the "full faced - FLY'S EYE'S" still what you "need to be seen in"?
Hair accessories has always been one of my favourites, always something new floating around in the hair department, usually in the form of a clip or "band" type implement, what colours this Spring?

As always DTH you can expect plenty of moccasin clad, double stonewash denim with the matching beanie around the ground, keep your eye's peeled for the odd mullett too. Lucky for us this "fashion" never outdates and our supporters can always be looking their best on game days!

Lions and Hawks game got called off 5 minutes in due to injured player and ambulance on the field. Do both teams get a point each if only 5 minutes played? Lions up 2 goals to nil at this stage. Not sure if this gives Marion the spoon.

If they called the game off it will be a draw. Looks like that will give marion the Wooden Spoon

Just saw on the Lonsdale trainer's Facebook page that the player has been cleared of any neck fractures.

Can anyone explain what the hell has happened with the U18 draw?
Looking at the ladder Noarlunga finish top, however they have played 1 extra game does that mean they get 2 pts taken off, making Flaggies finish top on percentage?

How can you have a season where 1 team plays 18 games, most teams play 17 and 2 teams play 16..
looking at the 'Byes' column just confuses me even more

Noarlunga 18's and Reynella 14s were supposed to start the season at -2 points as they had the extra game. About a fortnight ago Noarlunga wrote to the SFL asking that this be changed and instead Round 1 count as a no game for these two sides. Of interest both lost the first game in any case.

This means they started the season same as everybody else on 0 but had an extra game up their sleeve. Meaning they got a win given to them.

I might say Red Army that it appears both your 18's and 14s are affected by this decision.

Also notice in the 18s draw that Brighton and Ewardstown don't meet in the home and away season

SFL have made some very strange decisions of late

So are you saying the ladder stays as it is Vics?
Qualifying Finals
Noarlunga vs Towns
Flaggies vs Cove?

just seems that the SFL make a decision on something, when someone complains change the decision to suit the complaint, wait until someone else complains and change their mind again

Looks that way, maybe a miscalculation by Shoes as Towns gave them a touch up on the weekend.

There's always 2 sides to a story so here is your chance to tell us the Brighton side (DTH or anyone else that knows something?).

I am told by committee members of MVFC that a phone call was received on Friday evening from the Brighton President, it was in regard to Brighton receiving some information that a certain MVFC player was going out head hunting on Saturday afternoon in the hope he would knock a few blocks off  , i have no idea where this information came from? Brighton then "$hat" themselves and rang the president of the league to make a complaint.

When Brighton rang the MVFC President to discuss they were seemingly left bemused in the fact the player they were so worried about was not even playing on the weekend due to injury     How embarrassing?

Hey Brighton, MVFC have been able to secure the services of Chris Judd for this weekends final at Noarlunga under a granted special permit, he is playing along with Barry Hall (the head hunter).
