Do any posters make the trip to the bridge for the Cup ?
Do they get the great crowd that the Balaklava Cup gets ?

So looks like another trip West for the Haddle connections.
Andy will have the old boy primed to swoop down the outside again.
Like i posted last time you'll get a run for your money if your on the 9 year old.

Cheers Craig (Vic Spy)

Head to the Murray Bridge Gld Cup every year. Never been to the Balak cup so can;t compare the crowds but don't think there is anywhere near as many people at Murray Bridge. Still a very good day though the hospitality tents are normall pretty full at the Gold Cup.

I think the Balak Cup is probably one of the biggest country based cups in SA, so don't expect a massive crowd like Balaklava.

The MB Gold Cup is a great day though... Look forward to it every year.... Normally get some very good horses racing too...

A few mates and myself own old Haddle McDaddle.
He's in career best form and will give you a site for your money if you back him.
Bonindi got us last week, but with a pull in the weights our bloke will be up to his neck in this.
Happy punting :D

Gday all safooty punters, its Vic Spy and im back on here to let you know the Balaklava Cup winner old Haddle has been brought out of retirement and is having his first up run today at Bendigo.
Old Paddy Payne, Andys dad has been tinkering with the old bloke for a few months now and thinks his arthritus and crook feet may be ok to have another crack at racing and maybe back to back Balaklave Cup wins ha ha ha.
Today is a heat of the winter championship and is a very strong field.
We dont expect to much from the old bloke today, just hope he has a nice run and finishes in the first 7 or 8 we'd be wrapped.
If he gets through today keep your eyes out for him 3rd or 4th up as old Paddy reckons theres plenty left in this old bloke yet.

Happy Punting,

Yeah mate I'm heading up there again. Second year in a row for me.

It's a great day but the bus ride at 8:30 in the morning is a good way to start the day with a beer, but the bus ride home is bloody tough when your full of booze and down a couple hundred haha

I will be there. This should be my 11th Cup. First time im not going in a tent so will be interesting. Used to always go in Y Room or Colts & Fillies tent and 1 year went in the Malaysia Airlines tent but then the last 3 years my work has hosted a tent for our clients so that was even easier.

This year will just be going GA, had a couple of mates who did this last year and they reckon it was the best one they've been to. I guess I'll find out.

I have often been asked who is the hottest SA jockey.

Whats your top 3?

I had a soft spot (and hard) for Kayla Stra. Also Lauren Stojakovic would be a nice piece if she gave up smoking.

Any more pics of these OS?
