He'd have left already. Was a 5 minute cameo before he went back bush to play for the team he has represented all season.

Create interest with a new thread on Safooty? Or qualify for finals. Not sure which.

So him playing a bit today will allow him to play finals if needed? That makes sense then.

Believe so.
When Centrals were copping their injuries i remarked to Centurion that the club should try to entice Heath Lawry back but he said it was past cut off date. Have also heard similar tales from other people

Lawry is actually playing for another club, so that may be the reason he would need a clearance. Not sure Schelly is actively playing.

I'd imagine he is no different to a country footballer that goes and tries his luck at an sanfl club later in the season, like an U18 that gets called up to a league club cos they want to have a look at him. As long as he's not comtracted where he currently plays and i doubt that he would be. Lawry would be different case as he is contracted to south gawler

Difficult to determine who is correct here, the CDFC brains trust, or Centurion and Jim05........

All I know is that if he does become available for finals, it could be quite beneficial. We have certainly been hard-hit in the big-man department this year, with Obst, Matty Westhoff and Havelberg all currently injured, Gunston ruled out by the Crows and Sibenaler unavailable.
