dunno what to make of this one. glenelg safely in 4th spot, the pies needing to win to stay in contention for 5th spot would make you think they mad be a tad more desperate, hope not as port havent won at tigerland for 6 years and lets keep it that way

Port were good for a half against the dogs, but lacked class and a few winners to cash in on the play they had and got destroyed as the game wore on. I think we'll learn more about Glenelg than Port though, as the comp watches with interest whether Glenelg shows they might be a finals threat.

Taking my Girls to their 1st ever Glenelg game this week. Making sure they are dressed for the occasion with their little Black & Gold Jumpers & socks. They look so cute when I take to Broadview games when wearing the club jumper with Daddy's number on the back.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

I understand, they've been so poor for so much of the year. But they are 4th, they have won enough games and they still have some fair players. But I'm not quite ruling them out of contention just yet. Get a couple of good wins, get some players back into form and things might look different in a couple of weeks.

I do have a commitment on Sunday afternoon in the city and having just spent the last weekend in Melbourne on business the gate keeper may have some feedback regarding my movements over the weekend.

However, I am considering a wander around to Alberton to see the U18's clash and have the odd frosty lager.

I'll see how I go... ;)

Not like I'd stand in amongst the heaving yellow and black gathering anyway.

Be careful, they may get mistaken for James Sellar.
