if North, eagles, Glenlelg win on the weekend it will make for a big final week.
it will leave
South 7 wins and a draw
North 7 wins
Port 7 wins
West 7 wins
who would have thought a team could possibly make the finals with 8 and 12 win loss
if the results go that way you would have to think westies would be the most likely to win next week

West in 2004 did just that, 2005 we went to a top 4 and Port finished 5th, 2006 the top 5 returned (IIRC).

Are you sure that it was a top 4 in 2005. I thought that North played Sturt in the Elimination final and beat them by a narrow margin. Port beat the Eagles in the QUalifying Final and then the Eagles beat North in a close game in the first semi (Fergus Watts kicked 10 on Jason Roe and Stephen Gillham). Central beat Port in the second semi, the Eagles beat Port in the preliminary and Central beat the Eagles in the Grand Final.

You just might get your wish. North were absolutely PATHETIC on saturday against a undermanned bottom team. One of our best players, as per club website , was a bloody joke with his piss weak attack at the ball and the player in the first half and should have had a Sturt jumper on, he drilled it down the throat of numerous Sturt players who ran straight into goal. What does that say about the rest of them. Most can't wait for the holidays to start so 13 goals will be an easy get for you mob. Expect Wundke and Stribbles to have a day out.    Pathetic , and I hope this gets relayed back to the playing group.

Bloody hard work being a NAFC member.

We deserve to be absolutely thumped (which has yet to happen all year) after last week. It would be appropriate if it was by the team whose spot in the top 5 we could have taken.

Score board has flattered North at times. Norlunga early this year. Saturday v Sturt. Three posters and so many easy gets missed by Sturt. Game should have been without doubt by half time.
South by plenty.

I think North might have missed a few easy gets to. 23 scoring shots to 10 after 1/2 time in favour of North suggests they smashed Sturt. Shame about the crap 1st half.
North to turn it on and win by 36 points.

God I hope South win to put us out of our misery and make it easier for me to make my mind up as to which state Ill be in the following weekend!
Its been a while between games. We last played South in Round 2 and have played Sturt and Norwood 3 times each since then.

Pretty worried about this one, a win here will secure South a finals berth- yes, can you believe it!
Hopefully if the boys bring the same intensity as last week we'll take the points, unfrtunately I believe North have grossly underachieved this year, and knowing our luck will flick the switch and turn it on this week.
I believe this will be one hell of a game, GO Panthers.

ps cant wait to see how the new gym facilities at Prospect is coming along..... :?

Only if Port and West lose this week as well.

Will go a long way to securing South a finals berth though!

South need to run, run and run all day.

A quicker and fitter side I believe than North. If we can do that we will win. ;)
