as for hard ball gets theres a couple in your side that wouldnt rack up too many.no doubt about Tasmans list but you have to be able to get them on the paddock.
Anyone know whether Boston are in the four in the A's

So the Roosters are suggesting that Rangers play "BRUISE FREE FOOTY"????

Nah I'm just thinking "out loud..." 8)

I don't know if we've done it yet, but who do we think is going to win the local medals?

That's coming up soon?

interesting year Harry Miller would have been a favourite but got rubbed out
semmler always gets votes but missed a couple of games
I like Miegel from Rangers
Waybacks have three or four who will rob each other
My tip is Jericho :)

Ky Miller, having seen every game bar the Wangary ventures, I cannot imagine how he doesn't win... Bostons winning games or not...

Agree entirely, has been outstanding all year. Will be interesting to see how many 3's he gets in losing games though, I'll guess not many.

Anyone at the count please keep an eye out for how many votes he gets in our last clash with Rangers. We lost but he was the best player on the ground by the length of the Flemington straight, if he don't get 3 that day, umpires should not do votes....
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

Boston- Ky Miller
Mallee Park- Mallee Miller (only because Harry is ineligible)
Wayback- Keatley??? (BTB? Cove?)
South- No-one really???
Rangers- MP??? I know I said it last year...
Tasman- Too many, will likely steal votes...

In past years the u/21 winner has been a good pointer to the Mail Medal. The umpires do both if i'm not mistaken. Lonnie Coleman, Cove07 & Waylon Johncock all won both in my memory with less than 30 u/21 votes. If it is correct that Ky got 39 u/21 votes he is obviously in the minds of the umpires. Being in a 5th placed team might cost him, but then again he would probably get 3 votes in all of their wins.
1. K Miller, 2. M Miller 3. H Miller.

Big games this weekend.
In the league I give Marble Range a massive chance even though Tasmans are the very hot favorites. If MR keep it tight early and don't give the Tasman midfield too much space they can cause an upset. If they play there best footy for longer than a half, they can win. I do however think the tasman class will get them over the line.

The B's could be alot tighter. MR have a big tall full forward that could be difference. Not sure of his name but will be tough to match up on.

League : Tasmans 23 pts
Reserves : Marble Range 12pts
U/17: Mallee Park 56 pts
U/15: Bostons 15 pts

No demons this week..... so here you go

First Semi - Tasmans v Marble Range
This looks to be a battle between the Master and the Apprentice. Glyn Owen, a master coach, who is used to winning, and has the record to match! Carl, the ex-Ranger now Rooster - what has the last 12 months in the Box seat taught him, he had the Roooster faithful crowing early, somewhat quiter now. They are still extremely confident, and why shouldnt they be.The Roosters are talent laiden - up against a finals hardened Ranger outfit. The weather is supposed to be blowy, with a spot of rain - this will certainly help the ranger cause. I imagine the side that uses the ball with the breeze, attacking from the coaches box side of the ground, can do enough to win. Can Rangers turn this game into a one on one defensive slog.... maybe only for a half. The game will be won in the middle, can Rangers control enough of the ball to win. As most of the commentators have already predicted the Ruck duel is compelling, but I think the Rangers may have the key in the centre square. Where does Rowan play....forward or on the ball - forward and that causes some headaches - but coverable, with the strength of Tasmans back half - on the ball and this may detract from their forward presence. The Ranger run and switch from half back will be cruical, can they expose the tall Rooster forward structure with pace. The way the Roosters structure up forward - can the Rangers hold Wagner (if he plays, and thats a whole another story!!), Frick, Cimma and possibly Mason and George if they dont change off the bench, this maybe an area of concern for the Master. The injury of Ben Daniells to Tasmans has been a massive blow - they should still kick a score, one that will be enough to Win. Tasmans by 30 points.
