Yossi's alright, but he's a depth player only if you're aiming to be in the top half a dozen teams

LIverpool have rejected a 7mill pound offer plus Yossi for Raul Meireles.

Big night for a few clubs in the context of their seasons.

Spurs, Villa, Swansea, QPR, Stoke and Sunderland seem to be most active.

Enough is enough though. Sign a f***ing striker and central defender Harry/Levy.

Are you not pissing Crouch off to QPR?
Macheda is looking for a club, Sunderland favourite at moment

I can only hope!

Macheda would be OK. But being a deluded Spurs fan, I want Eto'o, Ibra or Rossi!

In all honesty, I just want us to hang onto Pav and actually bloody start him and give him game time. His stats show he is about the 5th best striker in England over the last 3 seasons taking into account goals scored/created for minutes played.

OK, Read into this what you will. This is a post from a Spurs forum from a guy who works at Spurs and has a close to 100% accurate record of providing ITK info:

"Getting busier as the day goes.

Parker is completed as have said on a few ocassions.

Hutton to Villa. Enquiry has now come on regarding a loan for JJ.

Crouch- offer from Sunderland. QPR want him as well, not at that price.

Cahill bid has been accepted, talking to players agent currently. Head Doctor on standby for medicals.

Gio in talks with Wigan late last night. Initially offers from Sevilla and financially stronger offer from Udinese, player prefers Spain. Wigan came in late.

Wilson to Stoke done.

Diarra talks ongoing.

Only concrete deals at the time of writing are Wilson out and Parker in.

There WILL be more action today.

POTL "

There was also a tweet from Tom Hudlestone earlier today as follows:

"Can't believe who just sneaked into the training ground the back way! Wow."

I reckon Tommy's being a WUM.

Or given that he mentions the 'back way', he's intimating that we're about to sign Wenger as our new manager. ;)

By Head Doctor I am assuming he means Psychiatrist as anyone contemplating joining Spurs would need their bumps felt ;)

Spurs seem to be making the most noise in regards to the January Transfer window.
Rumours abound that they are launching a £30m bid for Tevez and also seek to bring in Kaka on loan.
Chelsea look likely to offload flop Torres.
Once again United will spend eff all

Really?? i think they have one fo the better squads going round as it stands (bar Man City of course), add Tevez and Kaka in there and they will be definitely competing for the league! Pity Everton has to play them twice in the second half of the season if they pick these blokes up, hopefully they dont come in (if at all) until the end of the window.

What is the rumours with kaka?? not enjoying it at real? not gettign a gig what? I dont keep up with the spansih league much
