I'd expect that will be Bassets message as motivation from now on. Not sure they have too much left though but funny things happen in footy .

We were discussing that today, and believe it would of been more advantageous if Centrals lost. A one week break would of meant some players definetely being rested.

LOL Pumpa is the new Buckets - looks so out of place but plays oh so well...

loved it when he roved the ball, took on and beat three Norwood opponents and kicked the ball deep into the forward line in the last quarter.

So did the MONSFAWs and ferals behave themselves in the crowd today ... Sounds like a bit of a fizzer after the build up?

One weeks break before finals I would be resting anyone with a niggle.

Two weeks with no footy, isn't ideal at any time.

I hope so, but I think the Eagles will be resting players against Port also, and North need the Eagles to win.

norwood were ordinary today... u wouldn't of known they were palying for top spot.

full credit to centrals. they just wanted it more. they were quicker, used the ball better than norwood, and unlike norwood don't have any passengers.

i thought it would of been a close tight game but norwood lost it in the first quarter. centrals are a well drilled disciplined team and no how to win when it matters.

good crowd today..possibly the biggest this year at elizabeth.

great to hear the doggies chant at the end. good supporters.

norwood will have to get through the eagles and centrals just to make the grand final.

Just got home from celebrating that fantastic win. Havent had time, or more to the point cant be PLEASE DONT AVOID THE SWEAR FILTER reading previous posts but HOW SOFT ARE NORWOOD. We stood in the doorway with our frilly knickers on and said come on in boys * us if you can, and you mob of soft * couldnt raise an effort, disgraceful. Appoint Bassett for another year so thats one more club we wont have to worry about. UUUUUUU Dogs!!!! You boys were sensational today, you had no right to win that game but you showed the rest of the competition what the CDFC is all about. Its about time some of you other clubs stepped up to the plate and stopped winging about the SANFL being a one club comp. Suck it up boys WE ARE THE BEST.
Bed time now.
