Should be interesting to see what comes of the players sent of in the melee in the next few days. Didnt look much in it but the PLFL will probably come in and beat their chest and rub a couple of players out.

4 reports from the game. Magic, Frick and Watson all look like getting a game each for instigating the brawl and a TFC official who should know better also has to front for umpire abuse

very unlucky if thats the case frick was no where near the brawl n magic was tryin to brake it up! also they sent off ricky myles and he wasnt anyway near the brawl!

umpire actually came up to ricky after the game and apologised and said he sent the wrong bloke off.

The whole thing happened in front of me(so no rumour here), Frick started the whole melee originally for kidney punching pobke, stayed calm for about 1 minute till Watson retaliated, then it was all on. Magic Watson Frick all deserve penalties IF the tribunal is going to consistent

THEIR PRESIDENT!!!The 3 players have been offered 1 game each with a early guilty plea or plead not guilty and go to tribunaral and risk getting 2. Was talking to wato he has taken the 1 game saying a few punches were thrown and they should of got more, not that this will affect rangers, will be a hugh blow to tasmans if they lose magic and frick. Dont like their chances with the way things have gone during the year.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Tasman Official wasnt me.
Congratulations to the PLFL for finally having the guts to restore some
respectability to this league, and getting on the front foot,
Fantastic to see the Umpires step in at half time and sort out what could have been a very messy situation.
Yes you guessed it they checked Tasmans socks.
After a concerned League Official had his minions reaching for the rule books, the instruction went out
And the team was duly investigated. It was discovered that one player played with his socks folded down
After being reprimanded by club officials he pulled his socks up.
Sad to see Brooksy go down no one likes to see those things happen on a footy field.
Looking forward to seeing a great game this weekend after a lacklustre affair on the weekend.

So lets get this straight Ken...... After all the publicity, front page stories, meetings, tribunals, suspensions etc. throughout the year. The Roosters had just won through to a prelim final and their president 'allegedly' choses to approach the umpires after the game and give them a serve?

Is that correct?

Tangles can you confirm that the league will be checking fingernails and spriggs
this weekend, Once the Senior Official gets this right perhaps he could institute a uniform policy
at his place of work.

What penalty would a president get? Would have to be a fine I presume. Is any other sentence possible?

No Overloaded allegedly happened during the game a member of his family received a severe blow to the head
resulting in him falling to the ground. The umpire was within a few metres of the incident and elected not to/did not
see the incident. The President, his wife and ten year old daughter were in the car and the incident caused a great
deal of distress to the family in particular the young girl.
He removed himself from his car and had a few choice words. None of which were profanities.

Thanks for clearing that up Ken. Still a very poor example to set as a leader of your club no matter what the circumstances.

I liked the way the umpries put away the whistle on Saturday. I was old fashioned hard rough and tumble football.

Is it just me or are other people confused???
Regardless of the tribunal result, I also heard that Frick will probably miss a couple of games due to a sever reaction he had from drinking his own bathwater.
