I agree with graham, I don't think we have 'premiership windows' in the way AFL clubs do. West have very little coming through at Reserves and U18 level and so, again, our chances in the short term will swing on our recruiting, our run with injury and our ability to keep our best players.

Yeah good points. Sturt went to a gf in 09 are being written off in 07. Still, having a nucleus to build around is crucial and even a stable off field situation doesn't guarantee success.

Glenelg, North West and Norwood all went from very little to very good in only a couple of years in the last 10 years. Mostly based on getting the right sort of blokes, some guys nobody really rated much turning into solid players and some kids coming through.

Sturt side well done Luke Crane on 100 games well played ( or will he be left to do that next year ??)
FF: James Wundke Matthew Duldig Craig Evans

HF:Tom Harms John Hinge Josh Laube

C: Luke Crane Brodie Martin Matthew Crocker

HB: Aiden Riley Jordan Mutton Joe Anderson

FB: Tom Bartlett James McLeay James Plant

Rucks:
Angus Kurtze
Adam Thomson
Josh Cubillo

Interchange: Tom Hurley, Brad McKenzie, Sam Miles, Angus Twopeny, Brodie Grundy.

In: Jordon Mutton, Aiden Riley, Angus Twopeny, Brodie Grundy.

Out: Tim McIntyre (susp), Richard Tambling (Ankle)

Good to see another debutant playing , I think that may be around 16 kids Sturt have debuted. (excluding first Sturt games eg Duldig , Anderson , Stokes who have tasted senior footy)Must be pushinng a record I reckon.

No Norman loves to name a side that is all over the shop for some reason, it fools no one(not just the Hinge placing)

I think Grahaml may be onto some thing though.

You honestly think that other coaches have no idea where players will line up . That doesn't win flags though.

Lots of coaches do it and have done it they don't fool anyone. If anyone honestly believes that doing it constantly gives them an advantage are kidding themselves.

No I don't have the line up , any bets that we don't line up that way ?

Why give it to them on a platter? Might as well make them work for it, that is what they are paid for to Coach and I would have thought part of the coaching caper would be to work out the match ups
