Bad luck to the Havens boys today. Played the game in good spirits and showed Ex sportsmanship after the game. Not sure if NH were that poor I think we were just way too good. Was very confident going into the game. GO DEMONS!

p.S. wILL HAVE A COUPLE FOR dOLS TONIGHT!
We are a drinking team with a football problem!

Is it true that Pricey dropped 7 players that played regularly thoughout the year to stack the side with his mates?

If so, that worked well

Only 3 changes from 2nd Semi side, plus one late inclusion for Newchurch who hurt his finger I think in the warm up

To Scotty Dykstra well done on leading your boys to a well earnt flag :D To win the flag then retire as coach will leave a massive hole for our club to fill. However you have put rules and structures in place for whoever follows you their job will be made easier. Personally I hope we can get you involved in an off field role to help our club get even stronger and keep moving forward. Thanks for everything SD (premiership coach) sounds nice

Nat Shattock must have had a game right out of the bag. Don't think he's ever kicked 4 goals in a season let alone one game !! Good on him and well done to Hope Valley. Always had a soft spot for the Valleys seeing as my old man played there. Enjoy the celebrations !
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Played very well and should be pushing to play at least "b" grade next year.

Shatts had a tagging job as well as kicking 4 goals himself. Was very close between him and Dan Moran for BOG. Dan would have had at least 20 bounces out on his wing as well as dodging a few punches thrown his way. NH couldn't get near him

We always knew our best was going to be better than North Haven's. The boys just decided to play their best when it counted most and it didn't count in the 3 previous games they beat us in this year! Apart from 5-6mins in the 3rd quarter, HV never looked like losing.

Massive wrap for 2 x 17 year old kids that played yesterday. One quit his job because his boss wouldn't give him the day off (and kicked 4) and the other kept North Haven's full forward scoreless. Got a message passed on from brad christie himself who said he highly rated the young kid. Hopefully Norwood recognise his skills next season

Looking forward to Mad Monday celebrations tomorrow. Will be a big day!!
