I reckon they are over the worst, they should start to rise over the next couple, Juniors will be hard to attract, that is where they need to get it right.

Seniors in the a grade shouldnt be a probem once they get a few names there, but the core for any footy club is the juniors and getting them through to senior footy.

Perfect facilities, top oval, coach is good from what i hear, But how do you attract the juniors??

They need to get into the schools and promote the club..

A connection with some country boys could help out, there has been a strong victorian connection over the years but that is all over now.

Heard a story Saturday that the old goal scoreing machine from the emus happens to be a carlton member and happen to purchase a ticket for the game today. In doing so it then put him in to a lucky draw in a competition where if you get your name pulled out you have a chance to line up at goal before todays game to win $5000 by putting it through the big ones. You think if carlton new this guys history they would have lost his name. And if he happens to miss, who knows what it will do to the name.

Falcons have been incredibly impressive during the finals series so far ---- boy can they run !
Someone even suggested to me they could be "the next Morphett Vale" over the coming seasons ---- we'll have to wait on that one.
However they sure have made giant strides in 2011.

What happened to Golding?

Shoes looked home when they got within 2 points in the last quarter with the wind behind them.

well done flagstaff hill.
It is great to see a club that has the Patience to develop
there own juniors, reep the rewards.
To have 5 teams in the prelim's is a great achievement and fully deserved.
The way you look after your own is the reason you have such a great army
of followers.
Good luck next week. except 18s.
EMUS? the rock stars of the outback.
emus are berserk. they run fast, playhard,
and to be honest, we admire their insanity.
