Looking forward to getting Groecke, Parry and Petrenko back next week.

Norwood didn't feel the same way, oh thats right they don't want to see Port in the finals.
The rivalry continues.

For height as well as size, Judd Robson would have to be the biggest SANFL player I've seen! Yes, there's Grenville, but Robson has him covered in height, and maybe weight for that matter. I wouldn't mind knowing the playing weight of Dietrich to see how close they are.

The game - Ports poor skills showed up in the blustery conditions and the Eagles burnt us on the turn over all too often.
The Eagles forwards found too much space early before being shut down.

The Eagles led 4 goals to 2 at Quarter time, then, kicking the first of the second quarter 5 to 2 before Port kicked 6 straight.

The Eagles bounced back with 6 goals and kept Port goalless in the last quarter. Dissapointing end to a promising season.

The umpiring - Although not having an impact on the game, was, in a word, diplorable*. Inconsistent, baffling, almost as though they have not seen the game played before.

The oldest rule in the book, "the man in front" getting the mark in a marking contest, nup, not any more.Diplorable*.

*Had no impact on the result, however.

Not kicking any of the last 7 goals might have had more to do with it.

Well it is one Port now ... x_x

Your picture is irrelevant, your humour misguided and your intent impure.

Nice try though. ;)

well I succeeded on all counts then ... :D

Ironical bit is that Port probably would have accounted for themselves better than South or the Bays in the finals ...

Not ironic at all when considering the Bays and Souths finals success.

Hey don't have a crack at South's "successful" finals records.

After all since 1992 they have only lost one final, the least of any club in the SANFL.
