The League had it right from 2006-2008: Elim, Qual, 1st & 2nd Semi, Prelim @ Adelaide Oval, GF @ Footy Park

Must admit the idea of a Friday Night prelim at Adelaide Oval is really growing on me.
Yes there is a five day break but BOTH TEAMS have it so at least it is fair in that respect.
The prelim final winner also gets a two night longer break to prepare for the grand final which is handy given the second semi final winner has two weeks.

What about the Prelim on a Saturday night at Adelaide Oval? Especially if they have the big screens up for the AFL GF during the day outside the ground.

The sanfl should use Thebarton oval as a Neutral ground for finals, could even have night finals there if the lights are good enough
