Crowd this week
Any predications ?Could be lucky to get 10,000 I fear.
2 teams with poor following and Glenelg fans maybe a bit "spooked" and not wanting to taste another finals failure .
Norwood fans may tip it over the 10,000. Hope I am wrong , get behind your team .

Re: Crowd this week
Be lucky to get over 8K imho.
South and Eagles on the same day isnt great from a crowd perspective.

RECENT SANFL FINALS WEEK ONE CROWDS
2010 @ AAMI - 11,449
Eagles, Sturt, Glenelg, Norwood
2009 @ AAMI - 10,192
Eagles, North, Central, Sturt
2008 @ Adel - 15,825
Norwood, Port, Central, Sturt
2007 @ Adel - 11,487
Glenelg, Sturt, North, Eagles
2006 @ Adel - 11,222
South, Port, Central, North
2005 @ Adel - 9.434
North, Sturt, Port, Eagles
2004 @ Adel - 11.842
North, West, Eagles, Sturt
2003 - no double headers
Given two of the lower drawing clubs are involved (Eagles & South) I suspect the league would be happy with any crowd above 10,000

Agreed, yet if they were played at home grounds I reckon you would get a bigger crowd and have a much better atmosphere.
Under 20,000 at AAMI and there is just no atmosphere at all

Yeah, even if they get a few more at Adelaide Oval it will still be only 1/3 full.
Norwood and Glenelg would be packed this weekend, would be awesome atmosphere

Re: Crowd this week
The saving grace will lie with Norwood and Bay fans and with no SA Afl teams playing in the finals you'd think that 10,000 would be around the mark. It's very disappointing that the SANFL haven't been able to increase the finals attendences and that the games really only average that of a minor round game.
'PAFC don't want any advantages in the SANFL. It would only take away from any achievements we earned.'

Re: Crowd this week
they should play the first 3 weeks of the finals at Adelaide Oval and save the big SANFL game for AAMI.

Good weather may pull in a few more. I'm going along. Looking forward to both games.
