I think Jarman has heaps to offer , he did turn North around but I am not aware of any other issues that seem to surround him.

Whoever gets the gig they will need to do a "Ronny" and lay down the law on & off field.

I cant see how Steven Williams isnt the obvious stand out considering where glenelg are at now . You cant convince me that Mickan wouldnt have them exactly where they are right now , without all the drama of sacking half way through the season . Anyway bias aside , Freo has shown what under performing clubs need to do to move forward after long long periods of underachievement ; Shut up , stealthly seek a strong unrelenting type , pay him accordingly to sign on long term and hope his experience , knowledge and desire gives them the ultimate success they crave . That doesnt sound like Massie to me !

That may well be the case holden78 but does Steven Williams harbour any desire to coach at League level again?

Is this a list that the club has confirmed or is it just rumor? Have they closed applications or is this a progress score? Wonder about a Mark Harvey or Ben Hart type who are part of AFL coaching panels and may get the DCM in the next couple of weeks. If the closing date has passed then they miss some of their best options.

Spoke to a VFA player today and he highly recommends Mick McGuane who is coaching Keilor here. Said every club he has been to has a flag in their cabinet. Add him to the list I suppose ( GFC take note....be thorough ) .

If his Sunday Mail tipping is anything to go by, all the players need to do is the opposite to what he says and they will be absolute certainties to win the flag.

Nice one holden i agree with your thinking 90% of it anyway. williams would be a great get. Whether he's available or want to do the job is another matter.
For once Freo have done the right thing for their club. Been pro-active and on the quiet at the same time. Very rare these days that a deal can get done without the hounds finding out.

I think Massie's appointment will solely rest on todays result unfortunately for him, but if we win it may stitch it for him.

Why would Stephen Williams want to coach Glenelg ?
Was he convicted of a crime ...... in lieu of imprisionment ?
