Surely there should be a limit to the amount of sponsors you put on a guernsey and surely a sponsor's emblem can't replace the SANFL insignia??

The jumpers were a mixture as these now become training jumpers with the new jumper next week - some already have sponsor on them.

Bugger being training jumpers, being the premiership jumper you should auction them off! :D

The Wonder Elephant I did post that he improved greatly on his form from the seconds last week.He looks a good in and under player i think he played mainly up forward but couldve had a run on the ball . still he needs to improve his kicking or at least look first.
Ben Hart looked like he was playing AFL trying to be a general and direct his team to run to certain spots when he took a mark.To slow by half ,sorry enjoyed him when he was a crow but this is not the AWFUL and he may need to adjust his game in coming weeks as all AWful players coming back into SANFL do.To be fair he did have onballers changing on him and the likes of Cica made him look slow .That is just my thoughts .And when WWT play north in the real season he will probably kill WWT. hope not.

Harts influence might not be so obvious Mickyj. Like you say, if he draws the on ballers, this could leave other Roosters unmarked.

Must admit I know where MickyJ is coming from, most times Hart got the ball he wanted to lay off a side ways, backwards or small forward kick to keep possession but there wasn't the same sort of space as in the AFL. No offence to Ben but I'd hate to see that style of game creep into SANFL as its the main reason I cant stand the AFL.

Agree, AvFL comes across as too sterile. Some great skills but too often slow and neutral. Makes for a boring watch. IMO only

Yeah, it stood out heaps to me, its ironic that the "AFL" or higher standard of game is slower than the SANFL.

17s
Eagles 1.1 2.5 5.12 9.13.67
St Micks 2.6 5.10 6.10 11.11.77

19's
Eagles 5.2 8.4 12.7 18.8.104
North 2.0 7.2 9.2 12.3.75

This was the week when the 17s were going to start and the Eagles were going to play Glenelg.
Don't ask why the 17s played St Mick's as I don't know. As St Mick's tops looked simular to the Eagles, they were Ports Jumpers.

WWT v NA - Paul Stewart was very steady in the first half, played back pocket. Second half he was excellent giving plenty of run out of the backline. Each trial game he has improved markedly. Shoulder operation has cost him significant pre-season development. Would like to see him play on a wing at AFL level - has plenty of pace. Next week he might have to start in a forward pocket to cover the injured Nick Salter.

On another AFL point was nice to see both Mat Rendall and Peter Jonas watching the game . Not sure who Jonas was talking with in the stands but the guy was writing large amounts of notes on the game.
