Would the Club really disclose all the applicants? I would have thought it would be a confidential process for the most part. Coaches currently coaching at any level at another Club may want confidentiality if they haven't made it known they are looking around.

I can't imagine that is the complete list, however, if it was, I would be concerned if I were a Bay supporter. Put Mark Mickan's name in amongst those applicants and he would be a shoe in for the role ;) .

It would be well worth the Bays putting a couple of calls in to VFL coaches - Mick McGuane would be one. I guess the Bay's board took a risk that they wouldn't be able to replace Mickan with anyone better and let's face it, who would want to commit to the GFC anyway - it's not like they have a history of committing to and backing their coaches. I imagine that would put a lot of suitable applicants off.

I don't think Jarman's personality is what Glenelg need. They need someone who is a little more serious in my opinion.

Personally, I think someone like Peter German would be a good fit. Someone from the outside who doesn't know much about Glenelg and can go in with a clean slate.

Who do you think should or shouldn't get the job HP - and please be sure to explain your reasons why or why not? ;)

No need to be a smart a... Phil.

Can't anyone ask you a question and want to know the reason, I mean seriously . You do that all the time .

I think there is probably a bit more behind it than someones seriousness though.

I don't know what Glenelg are looking for in a coach so I can't tell you .

Jarman is good for the competition IMO and was when at North but I won't pretend to know , I am only basing my opinion from an external perspective.

The North fans would know more and some don't think he is any good ?

I won't ask why Peter German. ;)

Don't know why people keep bringing up coaches from Victoria. The last successful one was Mike Patterson in 71-72. Bays win today, and it will be Massie's job.

No sure but Gerald Fitzgerald from North Ballarat might be avaliable now that they are out of the finals. Has been there quite a few years and can coach might look for a new challenge 3 flags in a row there I believe. Ashley Prescott might be an option to can coach and has had success at Claremont.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Would not say no to Andrew Jarman knowing him outside of football. can coach and does make football fun. Might just be what Glenelg need would bring some much needed skills to the club and Fud might come as well.

I'm just at the point where I really dont ******* care who the next coach is.

If they can turn our club into one that regularly wins finals, without being given the arse halfway through the process, then **** bring em' on.

If that is Jarman, Williams or Humphrey B **** Bear. I couldnt give a rats.
