So do we read into it that CU knew that it was the winners second medal, or are we clutching at straws to try and think he's a PLFL type?

Well done to the dees yesterday. Tough hard game of footy. Full credit to Tasmans, they played well and were very desperate and tenacious. MJ's first half was very good and Ken campbell awesome (kicking not so). Minya's last qtr was sensational and Duncan Moore was back to his best.

Congrats to Keats on another mail medal. Simply sensational player and a great bloke.

I miss your input on here Bridey

I agree BBE, Moore best for mine - 4 outstanding qtrs - closely followed by Minya, Harders & Keats. Ziek really good also.
Duncan Moore is a big game player. Gun.

Well done keefy. I think a lot of people forgot how good he was in the early part of the season.
4 MM's puts him in rare company.
A highlight of the night was the stoush between WFC president and PLFL Pres over Keats not being present.
I hear toccas threatened not to present him with the medal when he arrived.

Some interesting results on the night. Minya 2 votes Jericho 0 votes.

I think Tokkas should take a long hard look in the mirror
Mail Medal count on Prelim final night is crazy
I didn't see any Tasman or Wayback players there

Well done to Matt Keatley. Was one of my favourite players when I was involved with the SGL. Absolute gun.

You sound a little surprised with that CA...what happened today was another insight into the never-ending psychic of the Tasman Football Club. It's funny how how, year after year, a club can have such potential with their player group but manage to waste opportunities and then whinge and complain that they were hard done by. I've never heard a group of people squeal as loud as the hangers-on at the edge of the Tasman coaches box after a decision didn't go their way, like 13 year old girls at a Justin Beiber concert. The late, great Darcy Harvey summed caught onto the Tasman mentality years ago when he used to tell his kids to "stop carrying on like a Tasman" whenever they were bitching and moaning.

How do you change a culture that is complacent with mediocrity and B grade premierships? Bostons, who have won the same amount of premierships as Tasmans over the last 30 years, are changing their attitude after being the easy beats for a long time which is great but I can't see this sort of mentality change happening with Tasmans. Any thoughts?

Keatley was a gun colt for Jamestown in the mid to late 90's, four medals in two leagues is one fine achievement, not many could do better!

I listened to that Beebey bloke on the radio on Saturday commentating the GFFL grand final. It was painful. He could start by knowing some of the players on the ground.
I heard at EEFL the week before they were shocking.

If they are doing the PLFL grand final this week then at least they may know a player or two

Bad luck to Tasmans on Saturday 8)

U/13 - Brayden Robinson - LS (I think)
U/15 - Max Cooper - MR from Leigh Rodd - Waybacks
U/17 - Stephen Rees - Boston from Riley Nisbett - Tasman

Well done to souths for a well done junior presentation. Bluey Dunn for some unknown reason was asked to talk but then precedes to talk about the upcoming league grand final at a junior presentation. Totally unnecessary for him to speak at all. Surely it would have been more appropriate to speak about the upcoming junior grand finals!!

What problem do you have with poor old Beebs LDS? Having a shot about Saturday's call is one thing but comparing him to Blue.................. a bridge to far? BTW on the call..........If you hated it that much why were you listening? I'd say good on 5cc for having a go and atleast getting the scores on...............but what would i know? Is it the Ranger in you that makes you so negative.
