Ahh the irony. South supporters basking in the delight of Sandery's crude and cowardly elbow - he should have got 3 at least - very lucky to only get 2 which most would agree with me. South supporters last season whinged about Stribling when at North tagging Liddle and his tactics - bleating like babies after each North v. South clash but now Stribling loved by all at South and said nothing all season long re Cockshell and some of his blatant thuggery which in the main went un-reported HOWEVER Glenelg supporters getting all worked up about Sandery's light suspension is hypocritical after the Kirk vs. Wundke incident a few weeks back. Funny how they defended that blatant act of thuggery yet complain and squeal about Sandery???

The game will be won and lost in the midfield. Parry is the key for the eagles and Brooksby and Bass will have to nullify his influence, particularly around the ground. I believe Liddle,Cross,Stibling,Horne and co will cause the Eagles plenty of headaches at the clearances and give our forwards plenty of opportunities.

Once again, it happens year after year, most non-eagles fans write us off.
Last year, I recall that first Sturt, then the Bays were going to beat us @ this time.

Granted, South are a very improved side - cudos to Ron Fuller, still the best identifier of young football talent in the state & what he does do is show faith in young kids to perform.

Eagles needed last week's shocker IMHO - you are right in your call that it is in their heads.
If they are switched on from the 'get-go', they will win comfortably.
If not, South have the talent to win.

Write us off @ your peril.
