Alot will depend on how many tag Norsworthy, a couple of mates involved at MV rekon they used 2 last time without much success and might try rotating 3 or 4 on him? Could be enough to swing the result the Emu's way.

Are towns 18s playing this week?
I'd agree with you but swap the b grade and a grade margins.

Also heard the Trevor Mitton won't be coaching the shoes next year. Surely them finishing 2nd in the minor round would have been enough to give him the gig again.

MV haven't beaten brighton this year and I think there may be some self doubt. A bit like in 08 when they couldn't beat Cove during the year and then got pumped in the GF.
Maybe Hewy could do a "Yatesy" on Norsworthy.

SATURDAY
U14 Happy Valley
U16 Cove
U18 Emus if the game goes ahead. If Edwardstown disqualifed before Saturday as they should be Emus again.

haha self doubt!

Not sure if it has been previously mentioned but Brighton have lost there last 3 GF appearances, 2 of which have been to Morphett Vale.

The only thing that is certain is that both teams will leave nothing in the tank!

Reynella had lost their last 3 also until last year. Brighton seem to be a mature experienced side now where as mv seem to be a younger rebuilding side. Anything can happen on the day, it just seems like it could be the bombers time.

Definitely no self doubt. nothing like 08. If Hewy doe's a "Yatesy" norsworthy won't get up.

Will give the SFL some credit. They have the medal night running quite smoothly these days. For all the awards they dish out things don't drag on too much. No wonder South Adelaide are happy for the SFL to share their premises and host GF's, Association games, Medal nights etc. The profit they would make from a $35 charge for a bowl of soup and roast or chicken main would go a long way towards funding the player payments of Liddle, Cross, Horne etc.

Top 5 in Mail Medal were: B.Bayly 23, Pomeroy 21, Gulihaus 18, Ware 18, Johnstone 17.

As for the Bombers, in addition to Johnstone we also had Rigney 14, Norsworthy 11, King 10.

How many of your main vote getters are on all the big money you guys supposedly pay ;)

No doubt he is keen to get that preership he has come very close a few times [lost twice to mv
when coaching brighton Bs] but definitely not looking for the easy way out.

A 4 point first final defeat showed there are certainly some cracks and Brighton are very beatable, given the boys a great amount of confidence, some players down on form that day as well as a couple inclusions certainly toughen the EMUS up a bit more. Anything can happen on the day and looking forward to the clash. Word coming out of Brighton is they are quite confident, as they should be, as i say, anything can happen on the day :D :D

A Grade is going to a tough hard battle that could go either way.

One thing is for certain and that is Brighton would have preferred to play Reynella. I'll stick with the big game player Rigs and Brighton by 3 pts (no confidence whatsoever). Trev is on 95 for the year its going to be tough to reach 100 but if anyone can do it the great man T Rigney!

Any chance Trev could come back to Lonnie LH?

My 'Back to Sullies' taunts were having no effect on him last week!
