ramblers thrashed meningie by around 30 goal down at the wind tunnel!!
Mypo beat tailem on the toy oval by around 7 goal
Imps beat jervois on their home deck at fly park by a couple of goals. unsure if this has totally kicked the monkey on fielks' back though??
and mannum went through unscathed

I'm sure Butchard will be a loss if he has gone, but i think the Roosters have the best depth of all the clubs in the RMFL this year. They still have Girardi and Jackson to play up forward, plus with Viney they have a great midfield with the O'Neil boys, Matthews, Jarrod Weyland. They've also got quality players such as Zadow, Morris (Reserves experience with Sturt), Voigt (although if he goes to West Aust will be a big loss) and Trent Paech.

With Imps and Jervois both slightly weaker, this is definitely Ramblers' chance to break their 20 year hoodoo.

Meningie will be battling away for a finals spot with Mannum and Tailem i think. I'd imagine they'd struggle against the top 3.

Heard of radio talk on the weekend Damien Squire heading to Tailem bend??

I heard that rumour late last year, but subsequently have seen a rumour that hes likely to play for Portland (in Western Border League) who are coached by Squire's ex teammate at North Adel Mark Jeffries. Apparently Squire is going overseas so who ever he plays for wont get a full season out of him.

Will be interesting to see who he eventually signs for.

Mypolonga has lost a key player they were supposed to have gained from Keith???? can anyone back this up. I dont know names, only heard that one of their forward recruits has left before stepping on the park.

Also - did smelt play against tailem? that would have been interesting to see how it went down
