Can confirm that management from MR have spoken to a potential coach in Adelaide
a fortnight ago.
Souths still looking at options I know that they have approached a couple of blokes locally
from outside the Eagles.

Chalmers is going to Adelaide
Mallees Malcolm Miller (you would think)
Waybacks Horgan would have another go
Bostons not sure about Watherston or Beare
Marble Range someone from outside the club (maybe a playing coach with SANFL experience)
Tasmans Semmler (probably)

Souths haven't approached anyone about coaching.
However 3 people have applied for the position(2 from outside the club)
Chalmers moves to Adelaide shortly, so you can rule him out.

On other news, can anyone from Bostons confirm or deny the rumours about 2 Ep players signing plus a GFFL interleague player.?

If I'd heard anything I would Steakn, but "signings" In September don't carry much weight... See if there here in March, and I'll get interested... Definitely have a few losses to cover...

Who's the losses MP?
I was hoping the tigers could keep the competition healthy by hanging on to their young group and building on this years improvement.

Yes but that was mainly because 1 other side fell away badly in the competition. And Im not sure you can read to much into the Tasman victory when they had 12 players out. Sure a couple of juniors have looked like they might be handy players but I wouldnt be getting to excited.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Rhys Marsh and Jack Arbon (work), Kaden Hull (Uni) and Ky Miller (Adelaide).

surley rangers need some fresh blood zooma has been a great coach over the years both junior and senior with mutiple flags. New blood is required at the gary! Semler may have done his dash! but Tasmans need to realise realise flags arnt won in February contrary to what is written i the local rag! but it all comes down to the culture of the club and clearly over the last 20 seasons there has been to much reading the paper and not enough wins.

I wonder what the penalty is for not having the MM present for the awards?

From memory White was in Ceduna working when Ian Scmidt rang him on the phone and embarrased him by putting him on loudspeaker for the acceptance speech  . I remember it was a weeknight. So he was 400km away working, not at his footy club drinking 4km away snubbing the event. I dont think you can compare those 2 cove,
I stand to be corrected on these facts as it was 12 months ago and my memory is not the best, but that is what I remember from that night.

Both Waybacks and Tasmans should be ashamed of themselves for the mail medal tournout.
As much as I dont like the south president and the phone speech idea at least he made an effort in contacting White. The response we got the wayback table was very ordinary, especialy from Mick Miller when he stood up and said his peace was a disgrace and a total embarresment for waybacks.
