Brighton have had some big name coaches the past few years Marshall , Francis, and Sneezer to name a few. If it is so easy to coach a flag there why not one of them? Could have Moller brought the quality of Bueglarr, Baker, Rigney 97 goals and Sharpe BOG GF. Surely moller has an easier job improving cove from ninth with an easy draw and a good group. Good to see u admire blokes for going to mid teams and working there way up is that why you went to jervois after they had won four flags then to reynella who were up the top of the ladder. maybe you should have stayed at encounter and worked your way up there then others could admire you. Now you have retired maybe you should put in for reynella coaching job and build them up. on that i have heard milo signed at Ardrossen for not much . Bradshaw and Farrier to Keith 1200 a game . Ware in Darwin prob not returning . Bayliss middleton Smith retired . Fair outs . Can they rebuild as quick as emus have. think they will hope Broadbent returns, and maybe Bayliss can work his way out of the twos.
I said that I was taking anything away from Sam had achieved, any coach that wins a premiership has obviously done a great job. Both Brighton and Reynella unfortunately came up against one of the best sides in SFL history in Morphett Vale during the past 10 years. Moller may not have been able to bring those exact players, but I know Baker was already looking at going there and I also know Moller could have brought some talented players there as well. Again Barry it's all crystal ball BS, my point was Mick would be a very good coach.
And the reason was I went to Jervois was because Sam was a mate of mine as well as the assistant Wayne Deacon who I went to school with and I also already had mates playing there. In fact Sam coached that year and we had a very good side who on paper should have won a GF that year, does that mean Sam is not a good coach? Course not.
And the reason I chose Reynella was I had to play closer to home due to myself coaching and I looked at most of the clubs in the SFL and Reynella hadn't won a GF in 32 years, lacked a ruckman and I thought I would try and help them break that drought. Next time i'll check with you to see who I play for...maybe i'll join Ardrossan with Milo and see if we can go from second to bottom to a premiership!
