The response? Meaning they had a table, and the PLFL should build a bridge and get over it?

Correct media park, if you were there you would have seen 4 people sitting on the 2 wayback tables (20 seats) and when Tokas was trying to find out where the winner was the response was a disgrace. Like it or not that is what I saw and that is what I think (and I am not on my own).

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Rossco has the respect of all the posters on this site. Rossco says 10 persons.

I was there and Rossco wasn't. Very correct though believe who you like

Waybacks had 4 people in attrendance. Maybe Rossco thought that 10 people went but he might want to check his facts and as for you

Waybacks definitely had 10 people in attendance, thus filled a full table as required. I can name them all if you like.

CU - you obviously weren't there.

My argument is that no Tasman or Waybacks players attended the count. I am not worried about the old pensioners who came along for a free feed or the amount of them.
Both clubs should be ashamed.

End of Story

The Times edition after the Mail Medal had photos of at least 7 Wayback representatives at the dinner. I assume there were others there as well.

Matt Keatley was parenting his 1 year old child at Waybacks football club on the night of the count with his wife. I would assume a 1 year old wouldn't be welcome at a formal dinner. Being the humble fella he is Keats didn't expect to win, I'm sure if he was notified before the event that he was going to win he would have arranged a baby sitter.
Upon being notified of his win he spent some time on the phone, presumably making sure they weren't pulling his leg. He then had to arrange someone to look after his child so he and his wife could get to the Lincoln. I'm sure he humbly apologises for not stopping home on the way and putting on a suit & tie.

Fair assumption then that the only thing to get shorter odds than Black Caviar would be that the PL MM presentation night will not be on Prelim night next year ;)

Perhaps we have a problem with too many of the one profession involved in running the league over a number of years.
I would have thought the PLFL would have engaged someone with Business/management skills to oversee the project.
Our challenge will be finding a CEO or CFO with the time to do the job and the management and people skills required.
