History shows they do well in Div5. Had a horror run with injuries (coupled with the defections to Glenunga) made for a bad year. Heard from a Fitzroy committeeman that some Glenunga boys will be coming back to Fitzroy,not sure if true but he was very confident when telling me.Think they will be very good personally
After the way the X Fitzroy players were treated by their X team mates when they came to watch Glenunga V Blackfriars in the finals, I wouldn't see how any of them would want to go back! You'd think the Fitzroy guys would have been smart enough to realise that repercussion......
maybe the committee want them but the players dont
you have to rember that for whatever reason they left,their former team mates will think they were let down and dogged by their mates,so dont want them back
might be wrong but we have all seen it a thousand times before
