Playing cricket like all should be doing.Name me a club in pirie or anywhere in fact where there isn't one or two who disagee or complain about something. As i said if they are not happy everone has the option of moving on.

good point there bigstack all clubs have em so ill be waiting to see if props line up at ports for their game this week, obviously they wont be as im sure the higher ups at props will sort the defectors out, maybe they should even be given their marching orders if they arent on board with the clubs stance on the port oval issue

dont try and shift the spotlight onto the 3 officials that didnt vote u know that u guys would be having an absolute cry about it if they did vote

Not a matter of shifting the spotlight, just a statement of fact. Any thing that has an impact on a outcome is important. Fact 1 is 11 people could vote. Fact 2 only eight people voted. Fact 3 acceptance of the original program lost because these people failed to vote. Fact 4 they had already decided on who can vote on what several weeks before so why abstain? Fact 5 if it was put to a vote all clubs would have had no option but to accept the outcome.
I know there would have been people having an absolute cry as you say but isn't that what those on the other side of the fence now doing? It seems to me people are directing their vitriol toward prop, that is complete rubbish. Oh, and i am not a prop.

What would have made props happy or unhappy is not the point. Democracy-voting-outcome-acceptance. Simply put if you want the job, nominate yourself or be nominated by someone else and you accept then do the job you were elected to do. One of those is vote on issues.

Start eating your hat, squids.

I am over this voting crap, Wandies / Southport and Risdon find it hilarious those clubs gave up playing on one of the best decks in country SA for nothing.

So who do you support then?

Only crap in the minds of the ill informed. Odd that the clubs making the most noise since the vote was taken are the three you mentioned, perhaps it is true "empty can rattle the loudest". How would you know it's one of the best decks in country SA? Played on a few have we?

I have played on a couple, I also go by what more informed people on here say and I look at pictures on the internet. There doesn't seem to be much competition. Well off course these clubs are going to make noise when a member of one of the teams tries to get their game moved to Port oval. Maybe some clubs should consult their players before making decisions....

Are you like straighthotlips and support a different team each day?

It would be right up there bigstack, I have only played there a few times but was very impressed with all the amenities. The new deck at ETSA oval in Pt Augusta goes alright, over 600 runs was scored there the other week with 3 century makers.

Totally agree cricketnut. I have not heard any club speak out against the ground or the pitch itself.
