good wrap up but i think rosies in div 7 deserved a mention 7/187 then bowled out craigmore for 37 with G.Bartlett 6/13 and D.Harris 4/23....

If you want every one sided game written about specifically then pencil in all the Tea Tree Gully and Dublin matches for the season.

where did i say i wanted every one sided game wrap up??? last season carey payne was in the messenger nearly every week as was ttg star studded line up and they had one sided games nearly every week in div 8 last season....i know its not the messenger but i just thought 6/13 from bartlett was a great effort and deserved a mention....

Angle Vale were bowled out for 160 or so in 37 overs against the Goats today. Nixon taking 5/57 with 18 coming from his last over. Bowled well. Vale pretty much went for it the whole way through just swinging at everything. A.Carman made 70 odd i think.

The Goats batted very conservatively and are 3/64 at stumps with barely playing a shot. Hanisch and Bishop are not out and looked in good touch. J.Carman bowled 14 from one end and took 2 wickets. Should be an interesting finish next week. Spewing i wont be able to see it.

SW 143 v CU 1/13

Westies 2/88 and then lost 6/30 including 3/0 in that period. Units bowled ok but a runout, a goldie and some disrespectful batting cost Westies after a good start. Much work to be done next week but we'll back ourselves in.

Eastern Park hey had a great day through all grades.

A Grade
Got off to a good start openers had us 0/65, then 16yo Ian Williamson and 17yo Alex Tuckwell batted superbly and put on 198 run partnership to guide us to a total of 8/353 at the end of 70.
Ian Williamson 110
Alex Tuckwell 96

Umpire was a joke, he is 70yo i get his trying and he didnt make any errors that effected the game but consistently calling balls that landed on the grass 'no ball dead balls' WTF is that, then when we asked him what a 'no ball dead ball' is he tells us to read our rule books.

Eventually when he read his rule book and worked out there was no such thing as a 'no ball dead ball' he then continued to mix up the two, very strange unit.

Very strange indeed whufc. Instead of signaling no ball then four it was no ball then dead ball. WTF?? Even though the team got 350 it probably cost another 15 - 20 runs.

Al Hewitt 8 for 25 including a Hattrick. Bowled Salisbury North out for 74 and we are currently 3 for 70

That's been a rule in other competitions over the years. Umpires come to Para Districts and assume they know the rules and never bother to read our by laws.

Hey LM... what's the odds on a one tree hill win over angle vale now? That's a result I reckon none of the punters would have backed pregame. But thanks to some quality bowlin from brad Nixon in particular, and some very ill disciplined batting that lacked patience throughout the whole innings the one tree hill win might be a little money maker now. Still a long way to go obviously against some quality bowlers

I'd update the score from our match but unfortunately the scorebook caught fire last night and is now ashes. Seriously, we didn't actually look at the final score for the day - we all knew it wasn't going to be pretty.
I will say though I have never batted on ice before but I reckon that oval is as close as I will ever get. The ball literally sped up once it hit the ground.
Ah well, looks like we have got a chase in front of us next week - should be fun

It's just gone up on the site - 9/359
Well done to the United lads yesterday, some patient batting will see them get close to that score one would think
