From what i have been told, Appleton has signed and is now a Roopena player
and Fiebig will be at Roos for 1 more year at least due to work commitments.

Apparently Weerons Bay have been doing there normal crap and been leaving
some very ordinary messages on Appletons phone and it has just made his decision
even easier.

Tyson Wait and Geoff Appelton's names were being bandied around in the Sporties bar in Pirie on Saturday arvo after cricket. Who are these guys and where are they from? Are they going to play for Roopena or Solomontown in 2012 I wonder?

Roopena have been trying to recruit Appleton for years. Played cricket for them at one stage I'm pretty sure.

Have heard its signed and sealed to. Coming over to Roopena he would shorten right up to win his first Whyalla news medal. Gun player and now actually will have a team around him. As for the bays how bloody funny are they, i woulda thought the only club in Australia that you basically have threats against your life if you leave! Joke of a club

Perks is moving but I'm sure they'll do anything to get him to come back to play.. I reckon he might play with Rick Leonard where ever he is now, i think in the GFFL

Quality footballer, he'd be round 32ish but would still be a massive asset, very mobile ruckman who has good skills

Craig Tee, Solomontown champ won 3 medals. 7 bf. Didnt play last season. 34 yr old ruckman very athletic and takes alot of marks. Workhorse will run all day, doesnt like training. But this bloke doesnt need to train.
