They wouldn't want to be paying much money for Ben these days IMO, where has he been playing since he left Marion?

He went to Port Districts after Seaton, played one full season and then played a little bit last year.

Did hear that he couldn't brake into the 1's after several attempts to put a few games together In the 2's.

Ben would be very disappointed if his new club aint got pre-season jumpers that would fit him!!
I heard Pt Dist did all they could to get him in one but unfortunately for him the store couldn't provide an XXXXXXXXXXXXXL!
He apparently didn't take it to well being the only one without a training guernsey. =))

I really dont think Ben would really mind as youhave to turn up to training first to wear the jumper

Maybe a strategical move by port districts. Still owing $220 subs and $70 training guernsey total $290. Divide that by 2 games means $145 a game he has to pay port districts for this years services. Now you don't see that very often.

BALL BREAKER
Hi all ... just doing some research on behalf of a client ...

could you please inbox me with any thoughts on a Shane Lynch? his history? etc etc

cheers

BB Apparently he applied to Coach our 18's but didn't show for a number of interviews full of excuses. Heard over a beer tonight that he didn't show again and did not even contact the club. I reckon Unreliable might be a description.

Don't fancy his chances now.

Why is it that the SFL are the only League not having a bye of the Country Championship Weekend??

I understand the CFB wanted all leagues to have a bye, is this correct?

By playing the SFL, are again putting some clubs at a disavantage.

Heard a whisper that the valley vikings have secured the services of nathan petersen-gray from Mt lofty football club for the 2012 season. also heard he has been offered an assistant coaching role out there to learn a little under the head coach.. looks like he will playing/coaching against his old coach and good mate benny coleman who has taken over the coaching reigns at Morphettvale....

Petersen-Gray wanted to go to Morphett Vale with Coleman but his price was too high for a club that concentrates on it's local talent rather than bow to mercenaries. I've heard Dent offered some good dollars and put a cherry on top by offering an assistants role, pity he won't learn much from Dent though. Not sure the deal is completely done yet either.
