Was hoping and expecting Hill to come on as a key forward. Could be very good for North. Unlike Miles where what you see is what you get, Hill has potential (horrible word) which seemed to be untapped at the Eagles.

Seems like the Eagles have got a plethora of tall Key position players and cant fit them all in to their program. We recruited another shy, quiet, unassuming country fella a few years ago. He went on to become the best player in the history of the game and a triple MM recipient. We can only hope. Miles was in my humble opinion the recruit of the year for North and will improve further next year. Hammy problems took at least the first 5 rounds to come good for Miles and he finished the season strongly.Got a gong in the B and F

Personally I think Hill showed potential 2 or 3 years ago .Then for whatever reasons he never went any further .I know he was rushed back in the two's late this year from injury .But he was a player who never fully went on to his full potential!
And I rated him highly for a couple of years .

There was some talk of Steve Summerton possibly leaving the Maggies to join the Bays but he has fronted at Alberton for the Maggies first pre-season session the other night.

Wouldnt be suprised if he plays for West if he comes to SA as he is good mates with Sam and Ben Fisher.

In the Eddy Cup , the betting is very short for the Bloods to bribe , err I mean get their man but the outsider The Premier may be a late shortener as their jockey does talk a compelling rousing case against money is everything !

Yeah, he has officially retired from North but would be a pretty handy big man at a lower country level.

As mentioned in the official ins and outs thread, the unexpected departure of Jarrod Silvester for West is a massive blow for the club. Really think he was the best full back in the SANFL last season, and that takes a big chunk from them in defence.

I'll raise you a Ben Kane to add to our Chris Kane!

There's some depth.
