Madsen was a dead man walking all year. Old Echunga president appointed him, but the new prez had Lennon firmly in his sights for 2012. Even a Premiership couldn't save him. Extraordinary but true, yes a premiership coach has been moved on.

If that is true, Echunga are a DISGRACE!!

Lindsay Bassani, he started his coaching in early 2000's at encounter bay and more recently has been in sydney, where he coached macquarie uni. last season. I wasn't able to make the meet the coach on sunday, but think the lads had a good first impresion.

McGahey from Birdwood is on $700 a game and you would think that would be the most since Torrens Valley left for Hills Central.

McGahey may not be the only one on that sort of coin at Birdwood next season a past player who has been playing at Payneham is heading back after knocking back an offer from Barrossa for $600 a game

I think it's all a bit of the rumour mill to be honest. They have pretty much used up all their points already with a few key signings so it's unlikely you will see these boys running around for Echunga. But stranger things have happened.
