I think you've been misinformed, it's got nothing to do with the count. The CFB are dictating how things will be run and taking control away from the South Zone leagues. I think you'll find Great Southern won't be involved and KI is being re-zoned to another area. The CFB are strangling the South Zone that's why the SFL and GSFL are making a stand. Cant blame them mate, perhaps get your info right before firing from the hip clown.

Cfb controlling the zone championships that they run? Sounds quite normal. This reeks of sour grapes

Are you one of Hitler's decendants 'Little Master'? Or are you one of Rosser's little 'yes' men? Same thing really.

Just a onlooker that can't understand why south is the only zone that can't meet pretty basic requirements needed to play in this comp. If they aren't happy with The cfb why wait till last years loss before pulling the pin.

SFL and GSFL boycotted 2008 (or sometime around then) so it seems they didn't wait.

The Country Football Championships are a mickey mouse comp anyway, based on zones that change from year to year.

Should be abolished and replaced with Community Football Championships played over the June Longweekend involving representative teams from every league in the state (inc. SAAFL) split into divisions. Hosting could rotate between the various leagues. This would also get rid of the annual horse trading for inter-league games as it would be rolled up into an actually meaningful competition.

I see Tom Couch was drafted this week by Melbourne onto their Rookie List. Tom played for Marion in 2010 I think it was, apparently he contacted Melbourne and asked if he could train pre-season with them so he could improve his fittness and they liked what they saw. Hope he does well.
