Poor form Weazel, I remember you spending many a night at Rob Madden's place, does that make you "inbred" too??

Lets see, played footy for MRFC then moved to BFC. Played cricket for SES....I can hear the banjo's in the background now.... ;)

The pitch obviously held up well. 340 odd runs was a good result.

BTB can you confirm that the Demons are looking to shift clubrooms
across the road due to the high cost of renovating Windsor Ave?

The WFC have a 'special meeting' with the PLCC at Noon tommorow to look at the possibility of selling the Windsor Ave premises and moving into ravendale as co-tennants. They will then go to their members on Monday night at 7.30 to discuss the options.
For a club that stated 'they wish to have nothing to with ravendale' and not wanting to play there to now look at moving in there is a big change of heart Ken.
Blusetheboy, boags or cove07 might know more...

It seems a pretty smarty option to consider moving there. $1 per year lease, council pay all the bills, sharing responsibilities with Tasmans and Hockey.

I would be interested in hearing from the WFC supporters and their thoughts... post away

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

My advice would be to stay at home - i really wish we did. The loss of identity was huge at the club and has had a major affect on the Saturday night's. Working with the hockey association has been a nightmare. The Hockey teams do not support the RCC and would be happy to walk away. (from what I hear) .

Why don't the WFC consider becoming part of the Boston Bay Sporting Association on Matthew Place ?
