It was $1.04 to LAY on Betfair so for a bit of fun I LAYed it for $50 (risked $2-) and it came last

What a iron horse! The rising 11 y.o. continues to amaze with his toughness after sitting 3 wide and then to the death and outstaying his apparently more fancied oponents in the Spring Cup last night at Menangle. Sat outside Mr Anthony and ground him into the Menangle dust whilst the more fancied Make Mine Cullen and the over rated Captain Joy who both enjoyed cosy trails couldn't get close to him in the run to the line.
For those who missed the luxury odds dished up last night, dont worry, there's still a few more wins in those old legs yet. Just keep following e.way in anything he contests, the harder the races the better.

Has only missed a place once since and tonight at odds of 100/1 ran Smoken Up to a head in running 2nd in the Miracle Mile.
What an idiot i am, only had him to run 3rd in all my First 4s & Quartets.

Was it a club directive to entice punters to future meetings ?

4 is a Billinger horse form NZ and I would expect it to go well 1st up, they invariably do ?????
1 will be in the finish
