Comfortable 2-0 victory for United in Fergie's 750th EPL match.
Should have scored 4 or 5 more but back to the top of league for at least 2 hours.
Never thought id say this but Come on Arsenal

The only good thing about Man city opener is the fact I get fantasy team points for an Augero and Silva assist and goal

considering that they are the top of the league and the best team going around at the moment i believe we did well against them. We could have drew if it was not for arshavin coming on a fluffing all his touches but we have villa away next on wed night. Not a long turn around

Arsenal were very good last night, seemed to have sorted their defence out and are in good form.
Thought Walcott had equlised immediately after Silva scored but a good save from Hart.
Bit of luck and one of those Vermaelen shots could have gone in.
You will smash Villa midweek, they are rabble at the moment. Liverpool should have beaten them by plenty, Villa offered nothing and looked like a side who hasnt scored in 4 of their last 5 games

Yeah makes it hard.
Have heard sky are going to have rolling scores across the bottom of the screen during matches from next year.

yes they do it with the championship. I use to watch at least 3 different games a week but by the looks cant do that now if they bring in live updated scores. A few seasons ago the commentators use to say during the game you were watching Arsenal have just scored, or Man utd have scored when that team wasnt playing that they were commentating on. That was stupid, think it stopped when they brought in the viewers choice as they have that over in UK also on their Sky channels. The last weekend of the season its good but not during the season

As we near the halfway point of season can anyone see many position changes in top 6 or bottom 3?
For me
Manchester City - Best team in league at the moment, theirs to lose
Manchester United - Below their best, too many injuries but will be dangerous on their day, should finish top 2
Tottenham - Doing well at moment but still prone to drop points when they shouldnt, still not great against top sides. Top 6 material but not convinced they are top 2.
Chelsea - Too inconsistant, have lost some of their Aura, still should finish top 4 but not a title threat.
Arsenal - in good form after a poor start, too much ground to make up 3rd or 4th at best.
Liverpool - Beat the good sides, lose to the scrubbers, that will stop them finishing higher.
Newcastle - Had a good easy draw early, finding it hard against decent sides

Pretty sure Sagna is still at least 3 weeks away but I heard Wenger say that Gibbs may return against Villa midweek but more than likely Wolves on Boxing Day

Man U to claim the title for mine, haven't hot their straps yet by any means and who knows how City will cope with the pressure at the pointy end, gotta stick with the Mancs who have the runs on the board .. Reckon the top 4 is set, although Arsenal may challenge .. Certainly hope my mob could sneak in there, but can't see it happening for the reasons you mentioned mate, we've simply just dropped too many points at home already.

Chelsea and Arsenal are considering postponing their Boxing Day fixtures until the 27th due to a tube strike.
An industrial strike will close the tube for the whole of Boxing Day so both clubs plan to postpone their fixtures

Luis Suarez cops an 8 match ban for racially abusing Patrice Evra early in season.
Has 2 weeks to appeal and is free to play until then. Said at the time they would throw the book at him so not surprised at penalty

Wolves 2-2 Norwich
One of the best games ive seen this year. Plenty of chances, good end to end play, a couple of blatant penalties not given and disallowed goal what more could you want.
The last 10 minutes were unreal. Congrats to both sides for putting on a good show

Rovers 1-2 Bolton
In contrast to the other game what a shocker.
Both sides dont deserve to be in the EPL and both managers dont deserve to be employed.
Disorganised rabble are both sides, surely they will both get new managers before New Years.

Ive probably been living under a tree, but I've not really followed this case .. Saw some footage of Evra being upset with Suarez, any idea of what conversion was supposed to have been exchanged between the two? (not that it matters, Racism should have no place in sport, or life for that matter)

If Suarez is guilty as looks to be the case, then him or anyone else deserves to have the book thrown at him for it.

Was clearly caught on camera at least 10 times calling Evra a Negro. Suarez was unaware this was racist as he said its a common term used in Uruguay.
Suarez also faces action for a gesture aimed at Fulham fans after the loss a couple of weeks back
