FYI round ball lovers in case you're not aware...the Arsenal v Wolves game has been postponed 24hrs until Dec 27 due to a train strike...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16300935.stm
Arsenal have moved their Premier League game with Wolves back a day to 1500 GMT on 27 December because of industrial action on the London Underground.

Spuds and Chavs finish 1-1
Great result for us.
Chelsea are gone, realistically only 3 sides can win the league now. Chavski are not going to make up 12 points on City or 10 on United.
Spuds hang in there but reckon they are still a fair bit off the top 2, they just need to win one against a decent side to give them bit of confidence. Wont win it this season but one to watch for next couple of seasons

everybodys thoughts on how the league is shaping up??

Mine - believe its man citys to lose for the title. As much as i hate to say it, i think the spuds and man u will fight it out for 2nd/3rd. race between Arsenal and Chelsea for fourth. Think liverpool will fall away. Will be a massive gap between 6th to 7th. Possibly stoke might finish strong .

At the bottom - Bolton are long gone including blackburn. I think that wigan may survive and i think sunderland might struggle and drop.

We actually agree on something.

Only thing I'd have different is Swansea to go down instead of Sunderland. I reckon Oneill will pull them together, but the swans will fall away after Christmas.

Agreed RE: Spuds for this year, but we'll fall away over the next couple due to ageing players. This season has been all about King, Parker and Adebayor. Plus VDV plays like he's 35!

We have an ageing side, but do have lots of fresh talent to step up:

King => Caulker - currently on loan at Swansea and doing reasonably well. Will be England's CB of the future
Parker => Sandro - has proven himself against the best. Can we keep him?
Adebayor => ??? In desperate need of a replacement.
Friedel => ??? We are in desperate need of a solid young keeper. Friedel is expecting a letter from the Queen any day....

Others:
Gallas => Kaboul is already better IMHO. Not sure why he didn't start v Chavski
VDV => will be good for 2-3 more seasons.
Pav => In desperate need of an upgrade.
Defoe => In desperate need of an upgrade.

Spurs 'fans' continue to knock Harry. He's been our best manager since Billy Nic. If he goes to prison / England, Ancelloti is the only manager around capable of doing anything close to as well as 'Arry the Geeza

Not good news for Arsenal with Kieran Gibbs not recovering well, have found more damage and will again go under the knife. Will miss at least another month

Yeah City to win with United a few points back. Big gap to 3rd which Spurs and Chavski will fight out. Arsenal and Liverpool to fight for 5th. Big gap back to the rest but probably Stoke or Everton to top the rest. As for the relegation I still think Rovers will escape. Bolton to go down, still see Wolves going down and QPR are a shambles and dont score enough, they might end up in the mix

Please let that be true.
This season is the first in a while where i havnt been confident. Just cant see City dropping too many points so we would have to go on a massive run, we are still prone to dropping points.

Reckon you are showing signs of hitting your straps Jim whereas City already have, and still have egos to manage .. United are proven at getting the business done so until someone can step up over 38 games, they remain the safest bet IMHO

Chavs draw 1-1.
More dropped points, can pretty much kiss goodbye to the league now.

United 1-0 after 10 minutes, could be more.
This could get ugly for Wigan, look very ordinary so far

Wigan down to 10 men before halftime. Send off looked harsh to me, was a hand to the face, not elbow. Yellow probably would have been sufficient
