One much younger though, so will have currency for longer .. Actually reckon the big bugger can play, but his off-field activity will always be of concern and he's not really hit any heights since he arrived.

Arsenal looking to sign a striker in January. Could Torres cross London?

Rumours abound that they are launching a £30m bid for Tevez and also seek to bring in Kaka on loan.
Chelsea look likely to offload flop Torres.
Once again United will spend eff all

Really?? i think they have one fo the better squads going round as it stands (bar Man City of course), add Tevez and Kaka in there and they will be definitely competing for the league! Pity Everton has to play them twice in the second half of the season if they pick these blokes up, hopefully they dont come in (if at all) until the end of the window.

What is the rumours with kaka?? not enjoying it at real? not gettign a gig what? I dont keep up with the spansih league much

Been injured but has reportedly fallen out with Mourinho

Not suggesting it would happen, but reckon Arsenal's style would really suit him.

I dont think VP will go anywhere, well not in the January window and considering he has brought them back into European contention off his own boot! If he ever does get up and go it would be in the off season window

Mancini has told Wayne Bridge to leave if he wants to get a first team spot as he is not required at City.
Arsenal are front runners to grab him.

Van Persie has too much class to leave Arsenal half way. I dont think he will leave at the end of the season either

Arsenal to offload Chamahk to Lyon and bring in Rodallega from Wigan.
Would be a good pickup, really rate Rodallega.

Spurs being linked with Blackburn's junior Hoilett, who's had a great season in a very poor side.
Apparently we've also signed Sweedish midfielder Rasmus Elm from AZ Alkmaar. Won't be confirmed until Jan, but apparently all terms etc have been agreed.

I don't believe a word of the Kaka / Tevez rumours. But crikey I hope they come true!!! Love the silly season!

Thierry Henry to Arsenal on 2 month loan.
Gervinho and Chamakh(if he stays) go to African Cup for 5 weeks at end of Jan. Henry doesnt need to start MLS until late March so Wenger is considering bringing him back.

Garry Cahill in talks with Chavs. Can leave for free at end of season so Bolton will cash in before they get relegated
