The top ten things I love about the Strut football club.

1. 1978
2. 1941
3. The greatest figure at the club is a Norwood man
4. Beating Port Adelaide in a Grand Final three years in a row
5. Beating Centrals in that Grand Final
6. Playing in those pretty light Blue jumpers with a straight face
7. Winning all of those wooden spoons in a row
8. Strutpierre
9. They lose regularly to the Redlegs even though we can't make the five anymore
10. Unley Oval playground jokes

I love Unley Oval. We've got an unbeaten record there since the new format.

Our home away from home.
We used to be good :-(

A good list there REB my good man. I'll give my 'top ten things I love about Norwood' a go.

1. Coopers Beer (and the fact Glenn Cooper is a Sturt man).
2. 2002 Finals series (thanks for being a part of it)
3. Flogging Port in the 1997 GF
4. 14 of their 27 premierships were won before WWI
5. They have won just five flags since 1950 but still regard themselves as a modern day superpower.
6. Their fans still cry, "get your own song", as the Sturt club song is played when in fact Sturt had Grand Old Flag first.
7. Those skin tight lycra guernseys in the 90's.
8. REB
9. They have beaten us regularly of late but it means little because they can't make the five.
10. The Vini Ciccarello 'bike' jokes.

Well the literal meaning of the word "since" is after (a certain event or past time) it implies that it is exclusive of the date. Therefore since 1950 doesn't include 1950 (Grr we know who they beat in that GF) and since 1975 doesn't include 197 so it is 5 flags since 1950 (1975, 1978, 1982, 1984 and 1997). It is four flags since 1975 (1978, 1982 1984 and 1997) :D :D

MST you get the chocolates
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
