Our left arm pace bowler is of Starc contrast to the other left arm bloke that sprayed them everywhere whos test career is gonna now be on hold for a long time if not over IMO.

Did more in the first innings than Lyon did from 2 matches.
Where are all the Lyon lovers now.
4 quicks and this one will be done by lunch on 3rd day.

I still think Lyon is a test cricketer, just not on this pitch. Not everyone changes their mind as quickly as you jimbo!

Good call smac. Perhaps we should play Starc as a batsman as he did more than Marsh has done in two matches.

I reckon Marsh is the only Australian hoping India fight it out and build a lead tomorrow. If he doesn't get another innings his spot is surely gone. If he gets picked again what message is that sending to blokes who actually perform at first class level?

Who's currently performing at first class level demanding to be picked??? That is a problem we have at the moment, whilst we are travelling allright bowling stocks wise we have no depth in the batting.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Said all along Lyon is probably our best spinner but was never going to be successful against India but not many spinners are.
4 Quicks was always the way to go in Perth.
Was very impressed with Starc today, just dont think we can fit him in. If all bowlers are fit then Pattinson, Cummins, Siddle and Lyon is our best attack, unfortunately Hilf, Harris and Starc miss out but its a good position to be in.
Just need to sort out a No. 3 and keeper, If Watto is fit problem solved, he opens and Cowan goes to 3 or vice versa. If Watto doesnt pull up im not sure we can go with Marsh in Adelaide

No probs with that, my post was in response to RR and blokes currently performing at FC level. Not many batsmen if any in the top order at 1st class level putting their hand up to wear the baggy green.

Yeah, probably Forrest is the only consistant one, reckon he would have close to 600 runs in shield this season already.
Very hard to pick guys when we havnt had a shield game for a month though. You would have to pick from a few hit and giggle matches.

Lyon hasnt bowled on a pitch that suited his style of bowling anywhere near as much as what the WACA does suit Starc

I'm not surprised that Tendulkar was annoyed after being fired on that LBW.

It was a poor decision which crushed any hopes India had of making a fightback in the match.

Why didn't he contest it with the 3rd umpire?
