You'll find Ancell will be travelling overseas for most of this year so will be missing a good portion of the year.

Looks like Central United and Gumeracha are in a fair cat fight over the services of Bellman.

Well Two things are pretty obvious and that's if Bellman doesn't commit to Gumeracha, they'll sign their 2nd choice in Dean Nisbet. The other is that Bellman is telling 2 clubs 2 different stories.

like i said on the div 7 thread we are not interested in nisbet. We have other ruck options if Bellman leaves. Talking to the coach though he has signed with gum, so if he does go to central united they will have to pay gumeracha out.

actually that's not how it works.

if bellman has signed a contract with gums it must be a cfb contract, and the contract ONLY becomes binding IF he is cleared to gums. that is, no clearance, no contract.

He played at gum last year. Why does he need a clearance to gum?

sorry, my bad. i thought he was transferring to gums. yes, you're correct - gums could ask to be financially reimbursed to agree to have the contract revoked.

As stated before Bellman has NOT signed anything anywhere for the upcoming season.

He gave a verbal to the Gums coach at the start of the preseason that he would be staying and now things have changed but he is adamant that he has not signed anything.

Where is Ian training? That would give an indication of where he wants to play.

Yeah Bellman is a real gun player
Was given Gum captaincy in his first season
Would pull big dollars on the open market if any club needs a good ruckman/utility player

Overrated! If he was that good why not go try and play in the Hills Central or in the top Divs of the SAAFL where he'd also get really good coin rather than continually slutting himself out in the lower divs of amateur league to the highest bidder?
